Their trip at the beach continued into season 4. Phoebe found out that Phoebe (her mom's friend) was her surrogate mom. At first she couldn't forgive her for giving up her (I guess she couldn't care less for Ursula), and later she did. Well thanks to Phoebe's trip, Ross and Rachel got back together after he broke up with Bonnie. That didn't last too long, unfortunately, because Rachel still couldn't forgive Ross, and Ross still insisted they were on a break. Rachel's boss at Bloomingdale's, Joanna, was tragically struck by a car and died. As for Rachel, she was demoted to the personal shopping department. She couldn't believe her luck. Even more so when she met an attractive male client named Joshua. She was dreaming for a date with him. Meanwhile, Ross met an English woman named Emily Waltham. Actually they were unintentionally set up by Rachel. They quickly fell in love, and in less than 2 months, Ross proposed to her. Witnessing how quickly Ross was getting over their relationship, Rachel asked Joshua to marry her after just a few dates. Joshua freaked out about it and they broke up. Chandler met a girl at Central Perk called Kathy. He was about to ask her out, only to find out that she was already going out with Joey. Later Chandler |
